I am totally surprised when I read this comment. I thank Mina from Mina's Bookshelf for nominating me and thinking about my blog when she chose her nominees. I have been blogging for three years and have met amazing people through blogs.

The Liebster Award is for blogs that have less than 200 follows and need that little boost in support and attention that they deserve.

Rules:
1. Link back the blogger that tagged you
2. Nominate 10 others and answer the questions of the one who tagged you
3. Ask 10 questions for the bloggers you nominate
4. Let your nominees know of their award

Mina Asked me some questions that I would gladly answer

1. Best books you've read this year?
My top two books for this year would have to be Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik and Losing It by Cora Carmack.

2. Upcoming releases you anticipate the most?
At the current moment I dont have any books that I'm waiting for. Instead I'm looking for new books to read.

3. Favourite Authors?
Wow this could be a long list, I have so many authors that I love based on their writiing style and ability to come up with stories and adventures that have never been done before. Some of my top authors would have to be EB White, Rachel Vincent, Suzanne Collins, Clair LaZebnik, Kody Keplinger, Sophie Kinsella, Cassandra Clare, Ronald Dahl and last but not least Dr. Seuss .

4. Is fan fiction something you consider as a reader or a writer?
I like being a bit of both. I think just like other fan of books that they have great ideas of what adventures and twists characters can get into. the Ability to be creative and the freedom of speech is a powerful tool we all have. I also like the read others ideas, I like to emerse myself and support other fans as well. I love read fan fiction online. Because sometimes the book is too short.

5. Would you like to write a sequel for a book you loved?
I would like to help give ideas and contribute for a sequel but I wouldn't want to write a book only because I'm so busy.

6.Is there a author you would like to meet?
I would loveto meet Dr Seuss. He was such a big part of my childhood and his books where the first I every picked up when I was learning how to read.

7. What would you ask him or her?
I would ask him how he comes up with all his funky characters and ideas. There unlike anything any author has every come up with. The ability to rhyme and teach a lesson is amazing.

8.Favorite reading nook?
I love to either read in my bed with a cup of tea when its raining outside, on my porch or in the middle of the ravine close to my house.

9. Book or E-reader?
I prefer a hardcover book but lately I've been enjoying using eBooks and reading them on my iPhone as i travel on the crowded buses.

10. Which novel would you like to see on the big screen and who would you cast as the lead roles?
Lots of my favorite books have already been up on the big screen but two books i think would be great to see would be Shut out by Kody Keplinger or Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik. Both have a cute love story which would be a fun chick flick like Cinderella Story and Mean Girls mixed together. I would pick either actors from my fav shows like Pretty little liars, vampire diaries or teen wolf as the main cast. There are no many choices it would be hard to narrow it down.

Steeping mint leaves with my tea master

Today was an extremely long and tiring day, it started from 9am to 7pm. The crowded hallways and buses can take a toll on you. I am just glad to be home so i can eat and sleep.
On long days when I need to unwind or chilly nights like tonight (the weather is 3 degrees - fall weather!) I like to throw some herbal loose tea into my Teaopia tea master and let it brew for 7 minutes then enjoy. One of the best things my brother ever bought my mom. My mom is avid tea drinker, she loves her tea which is where my siblings and I gained our love of tea. Now you know about my love of tea and what I do for fall and winter.  I like to cuddle up in my fleece throw with a warm cup of tea and watch GLEE or Modern Family.
P.S. Can't wait for GLEE and Modern Family it starts this week!!

Spinach and Ham Omelet

I love to start my day with a good breakfast. Usually I'm out of the house by 8am, but if I can wake up and make something I will. This has been one of my favourite breakfasts lately. Ever since I saw how Chef Micheal Simon made a simple feta & spinach omelet I've been hooked.

This is really simple and easy to make and the best part is it only takes one pan and you can easy leave it on the stove top on low and start packing your bags for the day with out having to check it or flip it.
 What I do:
1.beat two eggs, season how you like
2.add it to a hot pan
3. pull the edges in to the center so the runny egg can go to the pan and cook
4. add what ingredients you like to one side of the egg ( I chose baby spinach leaves, green onions, havarti cheese and ham slices)
5. fold egg and keep on low
6. EAT!

The tomatoes I learnt from my Italian friends Nonna (technically my nonna too!). She cuts the tomato in half, drizzle olive oil over, some chopped basil and garlic and there you have it. Pretty simple and soooooo delicious.

Try it out and follow my blog for more posts.

Book Review: Hot Item (Hot Zone # 3) by Carly Phillips

Back of the book:
What star quarterback has been spotted with a new flavor of arm candy? It's notorious bad boy Riley Nash, but his newest flame is the last person this reporter could imagine--none other than Sophie Jordan, beautiful, buttoned-down co-owner of The Hot Zone, the industry's top sports management agency.
What's behind this unlikely team? Some say it has to do with the sudden disappearance of super agent Spencer Atkins. Could there be a connection between the red-hot quarterback and the missing dealmaker? Or has the famous groupie magnet simply met his perfect match in cool, collected Sophie? Watch this space, because the resulting news is bound to be one Hot Item.
Review
This is the third book out of the three book series, which each book follows a different sisters struggles and path to finding their love.
Absolutely loved this series. Its witty, romantic, funny and down right cute. I love Riley and Sophie's mutual attraction to each other, it is strong and well over due and their barriers from their past and present add another element to each character.

They start their journey by coming together to track down Spencer, Sophie's uncles best friend (a man who treated her like a daughter) and Riley's legitimate biological father. Spencer goes in hiding after his secret is revealed that he is gay. Where in the sports world this may not be accepted as much. In their journey to Florida to find Spencer, the mutual attract between Sophia and Riley ignite. Can they control the lust between each other and can they find Spencer before its too late?

Throw Back: Rihanna World Diamonds Tour Concert

Here's a throw back to Rihanna's Diamond World tour that i went to this March. She's a great entertainer and I loved all of her new songs from her album Unapologetic. One of the best concerts I've been too. If you like her you should definitely go to one of her concerts. The part of her concert was she sang some of her old hits as well and mixed them into with dance hall and reggae music.  Below are some pictures from the concert.
