I rant!

I planned to post so many new things this weekend and now I can't because I don't even have a weekend anymore. I work 9 hours today!! And on top of that I have a crapload of homework and that's not even the worst part! The worst part is we have been getting summer like weather and I have to be stuck indoors. . . I mean SERIOUSLY just my luck!?!
Oh but it doesn't stop there, I was hoping to get new books to review and read and just to keep myself happy but I can't do that either because all the library staff is on strike in Toronto.
And the absolute worst part of having to work is that fact I can't even do my nails! How will I keep my sanity! Slowly tryna cope. I just had to rant lol

I recently went out and bought new nail polishes which i'll be swatching for you all. I got this Essie colour called Fondala Gondala which is a creamy light baby pink. This is my first Essie colour and i have to say i like there range in colours and the brush is small and easy to apply the polish to your nail. I got this colour on sale for $2.99

It's my birthday!

It was my birthday a couple days ago, I couldn't post that day because I got home kinda late with no energy. But my friends surprised me after school by taking me to a Korean restaurant that was in Korea Town in Toronto. This is what we ate it was amazing! too bad i cant remember the name :S

Lastly my birthday gift from Sephora was this months sugar lip balm. I've been wanting to try Sugar for a long  time. I loved the way they package there lip balms. 

Burt's Bees Hibiscus lip balm review

I really was looking for a great hydrating lip balm for the winter but one that would also give my lips a pink flush. And i found this at my local Shopper's Drug Mart. Its Burt Bee's Tinted Lip Balm in the colour Hibiscus. At first i thought this colour might be a little too red but it was a beautiful shade that suits me. It was $ 5.99, and i thought the packaging was really creative, the end shows the colour your getting and the outside has the ingredients they use which is all natural products.

Shrimp shish-kabobs

Sunday's are the only days I have time to cook something for everyone to eat. This week I was feeling Shishkabobs. I used sweet and sour sauce to add a extra boost of flavour. On the skewers I had onions, broccoli, mushrooms, shrimp and bell peppers. This is really simple and easy to do plus you can more people in the kitchen having fun with food.

My first Raptors Game!

This was my early birthday present from one of my friends. Since I've never been to a Raptors game before I was soo excited to go. I loved it! It was so much fun even thought the Raptors lost my 8 points :(. On top of the game at half time i got to see Naughty By Nature perform some of there hits like OPP and Hiphop Hooray and got a free figure of Demar Derosan. This topped of my amazing week. Enjoy!

Glitter Gradient nail design

I've been seeing the gradient everywhere so I decided to try it out. Honestly i liked the darker colour better too bad the picture doesn't show how good it design turned out. Damn Ipod touch camera, its the best I have though. WELL i hoped you enjoy the look and stay tuned for makeup reviews, book reviews, more food and nail designs.

Frriiddayyss.......

YUUHHH today is such a boring Friday, My pretty much glued to the T.V or listening to my ipod but other then that I'm pretty bored and there's ntohing to do. I've been listening to some random songs like right now I'm listening to Trey Songz - Missing You. What songs do you guys liked to listen to when  you have the bordom blues?
Lately I've been catching up on some missed out childhood shows and movies like Antastasia and Lilo and Stitch. What Disney movies do you like? I love to watch Disney movies when I'm really sick or bored, cuase the hapy songs and music puts my to sleep which is what you need sometimes.
It's finally an end to the first week of school and believe me when I say THANK GOD!! Firstly i had trouble getting out of bed since it's kind of chilly in the mornings, and then it feels like school just lasts forever during the day, but other then that it's been pretty mellow - no homework etc. Hopefully the new weeks bring more fun and excitement into my life.
