Book Review: Picture Perfect by Catherine Clark
Number of pages:
Stars: 4 out of 5
This is my first book i've read from this author and her style of writing was similar to Rachel Hawthorne but her older books.
Its about a family reunion of old college buddies and their kids. This will be their last summer vacation before they all head off to college, where there parents once went, Linden college. Our main character Emily has had a crush on Spencer(one of her fathers friends kids) last vacation when they were together she admit how she felt towards him and he brushed her off. Feeling hurt and not wanting a repeat of what happened she sets her sights on a summer fling with the boys next door from down south. As she tries to get closer to Blake, Spencer is always there to ruin everything. When they both get caught in a storm they call their parents who set them up in a bed and breakfast. Now they're stuck with each other for a night where they will have to face the truth of what happened in the past and how they feel about each other.
It was a real easy read, I took 2 days to finish the book, which i loved. I loved how the author used a lot of sarcasium and jokes between the 2 lovers and their families, the writing was very witty and funny at times.

Feta watermelon salad
Its been a scorcher in Toronto as we have been going through a heat wave with weather that feels like 40 degrees for the past 3 days.
The best part it's time for shorts and pool its officially SUMMER!
So to help deal with the heat i made this feta watermelon salad (watermelons are my all time fav fruit especially for summer!) in this salad all i have is green onions, mint, red vinegar, watermelon and feta cheese. The watermelon is the sweet and juice of the salad, the cheese adds the salt and the mint and onions finish it off. Its a wonderfully mix of flavours, i didn't know how this would taste but it really taste good and i usually am not one to have fruits in a salad. This is a healthy choose if your ever craving sweets and not only that its refreshing as well.

Euro 2012 Nails
To go along with the festivities of the EURO 2012 cup I got into the spirit of things and decided to design my nails to follow and cheer on my favourite teams. I did my top 4 teams which are England, Germany, France and Spain. This is pretty easy not so much the logo but everyone was digging my nails. LET'S GO! Whose your favourite team?

Summer Trend: Friendship bracelets
One summer trend that ive been liking since well . . . spring started was friendship bracelets! Not only are they easy to make (shown in the pic above i've made those) but its fun and colourful for summer and you can layer them easily. I've been making these for summer and its a creative activity to do as well. I learnt how to make them from videos on YouTube and searching the internet. Instead of spending $5 for one get a pack of strings from walmart or Micheals and learn how to do it yourself.
Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! :)
