Halloween Nails 2K14

Its been awhile since I've done nail art. I just wasn't inspired or had the time to try anything.
But with Halloween around the corner I had to do something fun for the holiday.
Each nail is something different - the thumb is a mummy, index is Frankenstein, middle is eyeballs, ring finger is a tombstone and pinky is a blood drip.
Fun and colourful

Nuit Blanche 2014

This past weekend was Nuit Blanche which translated to English means white night. It's an art festival of the cities artist and they showcase their art for the city to see. It starts from dusk to dawn and the city is alive. Also its a time for fun with friends, drinks and roam the city.
I had a good time with my friends, couldn't ask for better company. Below is some of the art I saw.

Hello 2014 + New nail Equipment

Whoo it's finally 2014 a new year new start. Time to do thing you didn't last year and start fresh.
Do you have any new years resolutions? I don't really tend to make them, I just try to make my dreams a reality as cheesy as that might sound.

On to the new nail stuff. I recently bought these off eBay. I bought them for my friends as Christmas presents but I couldn't resist getting something for myself.
I got nail foils - 25 for $7, striping tape - 30 for $3, nail studs - $1 for each pack of studs 1000pc and dotting tool set $2.

Christmas Wreath Nails

Merry christmas!!
This is probably my last Christmas post of the year and I can't believe the year is done. It went by incredibly fast!

Below is the design I had on my nails this Christmas. On my thumb and ring finger I have green christmas wreaths and the rest of my hand is a matte white. Simple, clean and cute.

Ruffian Nails

A fun fall mani that has a sophisticated edge and a clean look. I loved this design but I didn't think it would look good on me. Nor am I a fan of dark colours on me but with this design you can easily change up the colours depending on your mood.
I went for a festive fall look that reminded me of the leaves on the trees and longer dark nights.
This was a fun and simple mani and I hope you try it out for yourself. I used three colours and a matte top coat on the black to add something extra to the manicure.
Thanks for reading and follow my blog for more :)

Subtle gradient

Before fall really starts I have one last summery nail design for you all. This is a simple subtle gradient on my ring finger. I used a matte yellow from china glaze, a pink and a baby blue to achieve this look.
Thanks for reading and more fall posts are coming!

Levi Jeans Wallet

When i go shopping one of the things i'm on the look out for is something cool, unique, different and something that most people don't have. When i was on the hunt for a wallet i couldn't just pick any wallet. Then while browsing in Kensington Market a came across this, i just had to have it. This is Levi Jeans turned into a wallet. HOW GENIUS IS THAT?!?
But this is my new baby.

Dark knight rises nails

In keeping with the biggest movie of the year and celebrating the end of dark knight I have decided that I needed to have batman nails as my way of adding to the hype of the dark knight. It's been a killer busy week and I have one more ahead. But the positive is that people at my work loved my nails and so did the customers going to watch the movie so in a sense my work is done. Enjoy and tell me what you think! :)
