Book: Dead is so last year
Author: Marlene Perez
Series book # : 3
# of pages: 192

This is the third installment of the "Dead Is" series and Daisy and her sisters are back with another mystery to solved in their town of Night Shade.

Back of the Book
Something very strange starts happening in Nightshade the summer that the eldest Giordano sister, Rose, gets a job working at Dr. Franken's research laboratory. People are starting to see double. Doppelgangers of Nightshade residents are popping up all over town. Daisy, Rose and Poppy think it's a coincidence, until the rumors start that their father, who disappeared several years ago, has been spotted in town.

Meanwhile, Daisy's beau, Ryan is spending all of his time training for football, and like the other guys on the team, he's grown enormous almost overnight. Samantha Devereux's boyfriend's neck has doubled in size since school ended. Could the football players be resorting to extreme measures to win?

Between summer jobs, sugar rushes, and beach parties, the Giordano girls get to the bottom of these mysteries and more.

Review
I liked the third just as much as the first two novels. There was a lot of new characters that we learn about in the book and each of them have their own connect to the new mystery in Nightshade. WE meet new characters like Slim ( Daisy's new boss), Mrs. Mason, Dr. Franken, Flo, Natalie and many more. At first when i started reading i though it was going to be about werewolves again but as you read more we learn its about Doppelgangers and their all over the town. Daisy and her sisters along with the Nightshade city council must figure out a way to not only stop them and figure out who's doing it, but we must find out what is going on with the football team her boyfriends on. They have seemed to grown huge since she last saw all of them and are the Giordano's father really back in town, and if he is why hasn't he contacted them?
This book was filled of action with many different plots, each sister is doing their own thing for the summer and there is a very big surprise at the very end of the book. At points the writing was messy and all over the place but overall a really good book to sit down and read.
