Burt's Bees Hibiscus lip balm review

I really was looking for a great hydrating lip balm for the winter but one that would also give my lips a pink flush. And i found this at my local Shopper's Drug Mart. Its Burt Bee's Tinted Lip Balm in the colour Hibiscus. At first i thought this colour might be a little too red but it was a beautiful shade that suits me. It was $ 5.99, and i thought the packaging was really creative, the end shows the colour your getting and the outside has the ingredients they use which is all natural products.

Shrimp shish-kabobs

Sunday's are the only days I have time to cook something for everyone to eat. This week I was feeling Shishkabobs. I used sweet and sour sauce to add a extra boost of flavour. On the skewers I had onions, broccoli, mushrooms, shrimp and bell peppers. This is really simple and easy to do plus you can more people in the kitchen having fun with food.

Ruffled Fiesta Nail Design

With exam week finally done and written my last exam Friday I just had to do my nails. I've been through withdrawal the past week trying to keep focus on studying and not designing my nails.
So right after all of that I had to try a new design. I was inspired by chalkboard nails, when I stumbled across her tumbler and her beautiful designs. This design caught my eye and I recreated it but in my own way. I named these based on south America and the salsa dresses I've seen.

To do this simple nail design all i got were the colours i wanted to use and then i used my dotting utensil which in my case was the end of a bobby pin and started to put dots start across my nail in rows of colours. You contiune to do that and you will see the effect, its really pretty for the summer.

Midnight Sundaes

I went to a sleepover at my friends house this was 4 months ago before school got all hectic. We didnt go to sleep till 4 in the morning but we had the midnight munchies so we snuck downstairs. We made sure the coast was clear and we created our ice cream sundaes, it was like a undercover spies mission. But so worth it and this is what we created. I made a chocolate strawberry peanut sundae and my friend made a strawberry, chocolate sundae topped with sprinkles.

Book Review: My Soul to Save # 2

Author: Rachel Vincent
Stars: 5 out of 5

I really like this book better then the 1st. The first was basically she establishing herself and who she is and coming to terms with the power she posses.
2nd is gettin more into detail about the mysterious "Netherworld" that she shouldnt enter and demons.

The plot:
A pop star dies on stage and she learns that what was keeping her alive the whole time was demon breath. Now they must make a deal with the devil, save two sisters lives, get to the bottom of a whole illegal workings and save Tod's ex. All in one week or less.
Even tho Kaylee is warned she doesn't fully listen and understand the extent of what she's getting herself into.
In the process of making a deal with a demon and making an exchange she finds her self in a dillema. All of the things (creatures & plants) all survive on blood when she goes to the netherworld she is bite by a "crimson creeper" plant which if she doesnt make the deal in time she might die in the netherworld.
This book had a better plot, more depth and was over all more exciting that the first.
