Nail Polish Canada Revew

In Canada their aren't many places that sell nail polishs and nail art decals for a deal, so for many Canadians opt to go online to find  a bargain.
One popular website is Nail Polish Canada. After purchasing from the site I can say they have a large variety of brands, up to date on collections and the shipping is  free over $25. I ordered on  Tuesday and before the weekend I recieved my order. All the nail polishes wee well packed and secure.
Below is what I ordered - Essie Take it out side(fall collection), OPI my dogsled is a hybrid (fall collection) and seche vite top coat & restore. I made some swatches better and more details are on the way.
Overall I would buy from this store again fast shipping and good prices will keep me happy!
Thanks for reading! :)

Pastel Striped Manicure

This is a very simple cute and girly manicure you can give yourself just by getting your favorite nail polishes. I choose these colour because not only do they go well together but also i really do love my blues, pinks and purples. To achieve this look I picked a base colour it can range from baby blue to lilac purple and then slowly start to I over lap to reach the look you desire. After each layer let the polish dry. And there you have it a cute girly summer manicure! Enjoy!

Dark knight rises nails

In keeping with the biggest movie of the year and celebrating the end of dark knight I have decided that I needed to have batman nails as my way of adding to the hype of the dark knight. It's been a killer busy week and I have one more ahead. But the positive is that people at my work loved my nails and so did the customers going to watch the movie so in a sense my work is done. Enjoy and tell me what you think! :)

Monday Mani : In To the Wild Edition

These are the simple manicures i did for my cousins. they loved it i went with the theme of into the wild and took things that remind me of Africa and the wild to put on their nails. The first one is my rendition of a orange zebra and the other is a mint and pink cheetah with gold spots. They loved it, the only thing i want to practise is how to make the zebra stripes more realistic.

Neon Splatter Nails

I saw this as a cute design for summer, but i had to try this as soon as i can. When i Googles nail art i never once saw this neon splatter so i might as well be one of the first (unless i didnt google hard enough :S)
This was a really and fun easy manicure to accomplish its just very messy.

These are the neon colours i used to get this look on my nails
This is what your nails will look like at first so make sure you colour the floor with newspaper and around your nail with tape to make clean up easier. To do this all i got were my nail polishes lined up and ready to use and then i got a straw to use to blow the nail polish on my nails. First i dipped the straw into the bottle directly and blowed the straw aiming at my nails. The faster you blow into the straw the less bigger blobs of polish you will get. in the end you will get a colourful and fun looking manicure.

Joes nail polish and Nail Deco

Whooooo I felt like the much needed shop therapy and went out and did just that but on a much cheaper scale. Joe fresh has a nail polish line and I got one yesterday I have yet to swatch it and see how it works. For those that don't know about Joes it is associated with Loblaws, it sells clothing, shoes etc. The are sold for $ 4 a bottle or 3 for $10 which is a really nice deal! Also I've been into 3-D designs so I went out to the dollar store and saw these decorative beads which will work perfectly on my nails. Next week I will use them in a design. But this is a really cheap way to design your nails this pack of 6 different coloured beads only cost me $1.50 where as at micheals it would cost $7-14. But that is basically all I got. That's all for now enjoy!

OPI Gone Gonzo! Review and swatches

This is one of the nail polishes from the OPI Muppets collection. Its called Gone Gonzo! which is a a blue sparkle nail polish with silver hexagonal sparkles with it. It takes 2 to 3 coats for opacity and it took 3 to 4 days to see a chip but it wasnt even noticable. I never knew when my two year old cousin picked this colour up that it was apart of the Muppets collection, I really like their collection and I have been into sparkly nail polishes as of late.

Nail Polish Swatch and Review : Essie Secret Stash

I know I've been M.I.A and that's because I recently got a job so that's been taking up most to all of my time. I went out and got this nail polish by Essie at my local nail polish store this was on sale for $2.99, usually the price is 6-7 dollars a bottle. This is a bright, hot pink nail polish that is bold and perfect for summer. For opacity I needed 3 coats, it was a very liquidity formula, but other than that a very beautiful colour.

Ruffled Fiesta Nail Design

With exam week finally done and written my last exam Friday I just had to do my nails. I've been through withdrawal the past week trying to keep focus on studying and not designing my nails.
So right after all of that I had to try a new design. I was inspired by chalkboard nails, when I stumbled across her tumbler and her beautiful designs. This design caught my eye and I recreated it but in my own way. I named these based on south America and the salsa dresses I've seen.

To do this simple nail design all i got were the colours i wanted to use and then i used my dotting utensil which in my case was the end of a bobby pin and started to put dots start across my nail in rows of colours. You contiune to do that and you will see the effect, its really pretty for the summer.
